Recently, the first overseas factory of the Ningde era was started in Thuringia, Germany, which means that the global strategic layout of the Ningde era has taken another big step forward, and it will also fill the gap in the manufacture of lithium-ion power batteries for Germany. In addition, the investment amounted to 1.8 billion euros, which will bring 2,000 jobs to the local area. The major customers already have are BMW, Bosch and Volvo. It is expected that it will become the main battery source for electric vehicles in Europe in the next few years.

In recent years, the overseas expansion of Ningde Times has continued to accelerate, and it has established cooperative relations with many European auto industry giants such as BMW, Volkswagen, Daimler, Volvo and Bosch. Different from the previous product-level communication, the establishment of the European factory will be a deep integration of the technical advantages of the Ningde era and the German automotive culture, and also an effective attempt from the product output to the technical output of the Ningde era.

According to the plan, the European factory of Ningde Times will start construction with an area of 23 hectares. The production line including battery cells and module products is expected to achieve a battery capacity of 14GWh by 2022. In addition, the Ningde era will bring 2,000 jobs to the society and promote the development of the local lithium battery industry.
